Jakarta – On 6 October 2025, a peaceful rally was organised under Sahabat Cipta’s Smoke Free Jakarta (SFJ) initiative together with Muhammadiyah University’s Tobacco Control IPM. The gathering was held in front of the regional house of representatives in Central Jakarta. The aim of the peaceful demonstration was to support the passing the smoke-free areas which have been in limbo for many years.

As quoted by Dollaris Riauaty, the founder of Sahabat Cipta who was one of the lead orators, the passing of the bill is the right step towards the protection of children from exposure to second-hand smoke, tobacco advertisement, and preventing the uptake of smoking at a young age.

Jakarta – Pada tanggal 6 Oktober 2025, sebuah aksi damai diselenggarakan oleh Smoke Free Jakarta (SFJ), sebuah inisiatif dibawah Sahabat Cipta, bersama dengan Tobacco Control IPM Universitas Muhammadiyah. Aksi damai ini digelar di depan gedung DPRD di Jakarta Pusat. Tujuan aksi damai ini adalah untuk mendukung pengesahan Kawasan Tanpa Rokok (KTR) yang telah terbengkalai selama bertahun-tahun.

Sebagaimana dikutip Dollaris Riauaty, pendiri Sahabat Cipta yang sekaligus menjadi salah satu orator utama, pengesahan Raperda ini merupakan langkah tepat untuk melindungi anak-anak dari paparan asap rokok, iklan tembakau, dan mencegah kebiasaan merokok di usia muda.
