Coconut Sector Enhancement for Sustainable Livelihood

CSES aims to contribute to sustainable livelihood of  smallholder farming households (200 direct smallholders, impacting 1,000 smallholders indirectly) in selected villages in Penajam Paser Utara district, East Kalimantan through improvement of productivity and quality and value added of the coconut sector. The main objectives are increasing capacity of farmers and small producers; strengthening partnership and cooperation among key stakeholders, including farmers, local government, microfinance institutions, private sector; and enhancing value-added products creation.


Flores Specialty Product Promotion

The FSPP project is expected to increase the competitiveness of two sectors that represent a large part of Flores farmers' income (70% for cashew sector and 50% for wild honey sector), hence offer income increase and job generating opportunities; and is expected to benefit approximately 2,000 farmer households directly in Sikka and Flores Timur. The project closely collaborate with the local government.


Sector Enhancement for Economic Development (follow-up)

This SEED follow-up project aims to increase commercial sustainability of the Community Cattle Learning Center (Kandang Belajar Sapi Rakyat - KBSR) so that it becomes self-reliant business entity which is capable of providing services to cattle farming communities surrounding the MCL operation.


Garment for Economic Empowerment

GREEN project worked to improve the livelihood of women micro entrepreneurs in 3 municipalities. Garment has been known as a potential sector that can drive the local economy, helps preserve and develops local cultures as well as gives competitive advantages. The projects is supported by local partners, namely ASPPUK (Asosiasi Perempuan Pendamping Usaha Kecil - Association of Women Small Business Development Service Providers) area Solo (Polokarto) and Ungaran (Semarang), and PPSW (Pusat Pemberdayaan Sumber Daya Wanita - Center for Women Empowerment) for West Jakarta area (Tambora).


Sector Enhancement for Economic Development

The project aims to develop sectors, specifically in cattle, maize, and cassava to increase income for 1,000 smallholder farmers in Banyu Urip-Ngasem, Bojonegoro. The main support and facilitation are capacity building and increase in access to market, financing and updated technology for cultivation, post-harvesting and added value processed products.
